It’s that time of year. The time when college basketball fever grips the American nation. So right in time for tip-off, Nike Sportswear got six pros repping their schools in the N98 Track Jacket.
It’s not the first time that you’ll see a great quality brand to come out of Japan. Japan is hitting the streetwear and fashion market hard the last couple of years. But it’s not just the Japanese that know their stuff. The Koreans are up and coming, with a vengeance.
On Sunday, March 21st, L4 (Looking Forward) will be releasing their long awaited and debut album “Counting Coins”. They have chosen to do this in the city where it all started, The Hague. They have put together this live showcase for all those who have has shown them support and love over the years, plus for all the new fans still to be found.
This Saturday our friends from APAERT will set The Hague’s number one venue, Paard van Troje, upside down.
APAERT takes inspiration from Funk, Jazz, HipHop and House from the 70’s and 80’s. And shows you what happens when these different influences clash.
Expect lots of live bands, live sets and DJ’s that will play an energetic mix of Jazz, HipHop, Afro-Beat and House throughout the night.
This Spring Supreme worked with The North Face to introduce the Expedition Pullover. Designed with a 100% waterproof nylon 3layer faille/weave shell with tricot backing and fully taped seams. The parka will come in three colorways exclusively made for Supreme.
Our new favorite brand SUPER just showed us their full line up for the coming season.
A very strong line up from the Italian based brand, embracing models out of their previous collection like the “Classic” and “Flat Top” and some new and exciting models such as the Andrea, W, People, and Lucia.

It’s #MusicMonday on Twitter. So let’s talk music. If you still don’t know that you have to be in Brooklyn to see what’s hot in New York, then you need to go back as soon as possible, before the yuppies and bourgeoisie move in and turn it to a commercial and expensive neighborhood. There is big music scene in Brooklyn as well, to name just a few: St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens, CocoRosie, Hercules and Love Affair, Animal Collective, MGMT, Dirty Projectors, the latest hype Vampire Weekend and now we can add Yeasayer to that list (and I recommend you checking out all of these bands if you still don’t know who they are).
The Reverse Graffiti Project powered by Greenworks is a brilliant statement on pollution of our environment. Instead of spraying images on the walls, the artist removes the dirt in order to create an environmental friendly piece of art.
“Seeing how dirty a wall is by cleaning it in this way, it kind of gets people immediatly. They go up and look at it, thinking it’s spraypaint or something. And then it’s just a cold realisation that the world is really dirty.”
I love it when people take a problem and change it into a solution. Like when a guest spills red wine over your favorite white table cloth! What do you do at this moment? Get angry or just pretend you don’t care? Well at the next dinner get together spilling the red wine is something you and all your guests can’t wait to do to you UNDEFULL.
The Goorin Brothers are one of the best hat makers out there and I really love their style. For thier 2010 Spring collection, they are releasing,’The 1333 Minna Artist Collection‘. They called upon their special guests and friend Reyes, Steel, Yutaro Sakai, Orly Lacquao, Bert Krak, Retna, Kami, Sasu & Michael Ryan to enrich one of the many great Gorrin models, my favorite being the Peligro, by Retna.

If you did that you might be thinking he needs new friends, you can head over to Readymech and pick one out. Readymech paper toys only require double-sided tape, thick matte paper, and 10-15 minutes of your time. If I were you I would choose Tentaclopse, simple and very very dangerous!!!
