Quiksilver and The Standard have collaborated on a series of simple boardshorts, along with a bikini for the ladies, which are a re-issue of the original design from 70s and 80s with new patterns inspired by the 4 Standard hotels in Hollywood, Downtown LA, Miami, and NY. These special Hyperstrikes have been around since the All-Star weekend begin this year, but they do get my blood pumping in anticipation of my Air Force 1 iD. Nike released these two exclusive Air Force 1’s solely for the All Star players. DJ Clark Kent, taking inspiration from Phoenix, and Starks Laces collaborated on these All Star Game 2009 Air Force 1 Hyperstrike, that in actual fact won’t be released to the public. I really love the uses of material, but don’t think they beat my Air Force iD…haha.
From the great people at magneticNorth, I got my own MIXA in yesterday…. It came in a simple black box with all the love packed inside it. The MIXA is a USB cassette tape (for those born in the 90’s, google cassette tape), for all our precious digital files. The great thing about the MIXA is that it is has 1 GB of storage, and you can personalize it with your own art or the clip-art supplied. I decided to us my own logo, and use their beautifully designed clip-art to fill in the rest.
