It has been a while now since I was at the opening of the first ever citizenM at Schiphol. They have now opened a second hotel in the center of Amsterdam and are busy with the building of their third in Glasgow.

A while back I got into contact with Alexander Gligorich and his clothing brand Carrot Clothing. You would expect this brand to have found it’s roots in U.S.A. or in western Europe, but I was amazed to see is originated straight out of Serbia. The brand has been around for 2 years, but has gotten a lot of praise globally and is growing strong.

One store I had a lot of fun in while in NYC was UNIQLO, from Japan. I got my self my first pair of skinny jeans and a puffy jacket…. I love it! A few weeks back UNIQLO released their new Heattech collection. To celebrate this they introduced a new interactive feature ‘UNIQLO Tunes’, where anyone can upload their own mp3 file (or use the one provided) and have the music interact with the images of the collection.

Last week Thursday I was invited by Chris from San Pedro Design to attend a Bacardi Clandestine Cocktail Clinic. The night started with the history of this great brand, where it came from, the crazy family stories, and how it became the drink it is today. After which we were taken on the journey of the classic Mojito, the Raspberry Mojito, and much more. I have to say I made the best Mojito ever… We then were asked to design our own mix…. All I know is that I should stick to the ones which already exist. Vanilla, chocolate and mango look so good on paper….
