First off i’d like to apologise for not being on the stepping stones party tonight. As you can see on my personal blog i was looking forward to being there, to meet maurice and see Karim again. Yesterday Swedish sneakershop Sneakersnstuff (SNS) released their collaboration with Swedish denim brand Denim Demon.
By this time tomorrow, the doors of SEVEN will open to welcome you all to the very first AJANAKU event, Stepping Stones. The reason we decided to throw this party for Stepping Stones, was because on the same day I (Maurice Ajanaku) will be turning 30. I felt it was time to do something for the people who need it. The documentary “Saving Africa’s Witch Children“, touched me very deep on a personal level, that I knew it was for these kids I need to do something. With months of preparation, and the help of citizenM, Creative Recreation, and Jameson, we have been able to put together an event that will be crazy fun for all of you and in the meantime raise money and awareness for the children of Stepping Stones.
Today the third leg of the Undefeated x Converse Poorman’s Weapon has been released.
A year ago Undefeated teamed up with Converse on the first Poorman’s Weapon in a black bomberjacket colrway. A few months later, they released the Poorman’s Weapon in an olive colorway.
Today the new video clip of Dutch singer-songwriter Blaudsun (he named himself after a Danish cyclist) has been released. We had a sneekpeek of Seadrift Soundmachine a while ago, and it’s a gem! You better get it… it’s breathtaking. And while you are at it, become a fan of his on Facebook as well.

With the Louis Vuitton’s F/W 2010 accessories for men line, I have a hate/love relationship. I love the bags, but hate the shoes. The handbags are beautiful in shape and material. The use of beautiful leather, along side the classic print, and rust like texture is just perfect. When it comes to their shoes, they just went a bit over the edge with the design. They should have focused on creating a line that is classic and endless. Instead they went the over-designed route, which is a shame. At least we still have the great line of bags to look forward to! We are two days away from the first ever AJANAKU event, “AJANAKU presents Stepping Stones“. Of course you also already know that this party is to raise money for the charity Stepping Stones Nigeria. MISTER 3, formally known as 1Oak, wanted to design a t-shirt in commemoration of this event. Together with us, they came up with a fantastic print incorporating elements that symbolize Africa, Mr. Three, and AJANAKU. The collaboration will be presented at the event, Saturday, 30th of January from 22:00.

For the new season Carhartt had some help of some familiar artists such as Benny Gold and Eric Elms on their tshirts.
