Through out the years a storm of excitement and rumors always proceed the release of a new product of Apple. For a while now the rumors have been spreading about the new Apple iPhone 4G. How will it look like, will the battery last me longer than a day, will the camera be able to focus, and so on?
One thing that seems to get a lot of attention is the possible enlargement of the display. As the iPhone is already so large, do we really need it to be bigger. This might be beacuse caused by the rumors of of the possible release of the tablet by apple releasing a tablet. What is probably certain is the new display ration of 16×9, which after the introduction by Philips in their new cinema TV, is being followed by the likes of Samsung and Nokia.
Another major complaint amongst iPhone users is the battery life. As the battery of the iPhone is internal, users are forced to have their chargers wherever they go, with the battery life not going longer than 2 days. We should there expect a new battery life, or hopefully the possibility of interchangeable batteries.
iChat has been around for a while and it wouldn’t be a surprise for Apple to introduce this with the new iPhone. Placing the camera on the front will be a great idea, but they should not forget to leave one on the back for those who use their phones as a replacement for their camera.
Finally, will it be called the iPhone 4G? I don’t think so, and this seems to be shared by many. To set up the cellular network for 4G is an expensive undertaking. Do you have any suggestions for Apple for the new name? leave a comment….
Depends on the look of the iPhone. If it will have a 16:9 display, it might be named the iPhone HD.
Otherwise the iPhone Pro might be a name if they decide to make it look like the MacBook Pro series (dear god, don’t turn it into a phone with a whopping 7-hour battery) :’)
