1987 was a good year for Nike. It was the introduction of their visible air pocket, and the Air Max was born. Last year saw the big hype surrounding the re-release of the classical Air Max with new materials, but still it was hard to find a Air Max designed for women. Here is one of the few models that embrasses the women, with its Julep/White-Matte Silver colourway.
The colourway is fresh and has a smooth soft julep fabric on the mudguard, a white mesh toe box including the tongue. Orange upper lace holes, Nike stitching on the back and on the tongue. A yellow inner lining and Air unit and a julep felt swoosh are completing this edition. Super combination of colours and nice details!
